व्यास: सशिष्यो भगवान् वर्धयामास तं नृपम् । इस प्रकार इन्द्रके समान तेजस्वी राजा युधिष्ठिरके उस यज्ञको समाप्त करके शिष्योंसहित भगवान् व्यासने उन्हें बधाई दी--अभ्युदयसूचक आशीर्वाद दिया
Vyāsaḥ saśiṣyo bhagavān vardhayāmāsa taṃ nṛpam | indrasamaṃ tejasvinaṃ rājānaṃ yudhiṣṭhiram aśvamedhayajñaṃ samāpya saśiṣyaiḥ saha bhagavān vyāsaḥ abhinandya abhudayasūcakaṃ āśīrvādaṃ dadau |
Vaiśampāyana said: When King Yudhiṣṭhira—radiant like Indra—had brought his Aśvamedha sacrifice to completion, the venerable sage Vyāsa, accompanied by his disciples, honored the king and increased his joy and prestige by offering auspicious blessings. The moment underscores that righteous kingship is affirmed not merely by power, but by the successful, dharma-aligned completion of sacred duty and the benediction of the wise.
