ity evaṁ vadatāṁ teṣāṁ puṁsāṁ karṇasukhā giraḥ
Yudhiṣṭhira said: “Thus, as those men were speaking, their words were pleasing to the ear.”
युधिष्ठिर उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical power of speech: words that are agreeable and well-spoken can create receptivity and harmony, preparing the ground for counsel and dharmic decision-making.
Yudhiṣṭhira observes that the men present are speaking in a manner that is pleasant to hear, marking a transition where their agreeable speech frames the ongoing discussion.
