वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic social order around yajña: rightful kings participate in major rites, and personal affection (a father’s love for his son) is expressed within the framework of public ritual duty.
Vaiśampāyana informs the listener that the king of Maṇipura—Babhruvāhana, described as his beloved and radiant son—will also come to take part in the ongoing sacrifice.
