अर्थश्न सुमहान्‌ प्राप्तो येन यक्ष्यामि देवता: । पुरस्कृत्याद्य भवत: समानेष्यामहे मखम्‌,“इधर पर्याप्त धन भी मिल गया, जिससे मैं भलीभाँति देवताओंका यजन भी कर सकूँगा। अब आपलोगोंको आगे करके हमलोग उस धनको अपनी यज्ञशालामें ले आवेंगे

arthaś ca sumahān prāpto yena yakṣyāmi devatāḥ | puraskṛtyādya bhavataḥ samāneṣyāmahe makham ||

Vaiśampāyana said: “A very great store of wealth has been obtained—by which I shall be able to worship the gods properly. Now, placing you in the forefront, we shall bring that wealth into our sacrificial enclosure for the rite.”
