अहो मामभिजानासि दैत्य मिथ्याप्रलापिनम्‌ | यथेममात्मनो दोष॑ न नियच्छस्युपेक्षसे,'दैत्यराज! बड़े आश्वर्यकी बात है कि तुमने मुझे मिथ्यावादी समझ लिया। तभी तो तुम अपने इस दोषको दूर नहीं करते और लापरवाही दिखाते हो”

aho mām abhijānāsi daitya mithyāpralāpinam | yathemam ātmano doṣaṁ na niyacchasy upekṣase ||

“Alas! O Daitya, you have taken me to be a speaker of falsehood. That is why you neither restrain this fault within yourself nor correct it, but instead remain heedless.”
