जितारयो महाप्रज्ञा: सत्यधर्मपरायणा: । मुर्दे परमिकां प्राप्तास्तत्रोषु: पाण्डुनन्दना:,वे सभी शत्रुओंपर विजय पा चुके थे, सभी महाबुद्धिमान्‌ थे। सबने सत्यधर्मका आश्रय ले रखा था। इस प्रकार वे पाण्डव वहाँ बड़े आनन्दके साथ रहते थे

jitārayo mahāprajñāḥ satyadharmaparāyaṇāḥ | mūrdhe paramikāṁ prāptās tatroṣuḥ pāṇḍunandanāḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana said: Having conquered their foes, the Pāṇḍu princes—men of great intelligence and steadfast commitment to truth and dharma—had attained the highest eminence; and there they dwelt in contentment, established in righteous conduct after their victories.
