नारद उवाच पाञ्चाली भवतामेका धर्मपत्नी यशस्विनी । यथा वो नात्र भेद: स्यात्‌ तथा नीतिर्विधीयताम्‌,नारदजी बोले--पाण्डवो! यशस्विनी पांचाली तुम सब लोगोंकी एक ही धर्मपत्नी है; अतः तुमलोग ऐसी नीति बना लो, जिससे तुमलोगोंमें कभी परस्पर फूट न हो

nārada uvāca pāñcālī bhavatām ekā dharmapatnī yaśasvinī | yathā vo nātra bhedaḥ syāt tathā nītir vidhīyatām ||

Nārada said: “Pāñcālī, the illustrious one, is the single lawful wife of you all. Therefore, establish such a rule of conduct that no division or discord may ever arise among you in this matter.”
