Sautir uvāca: evam ābhāṣya taṁ Brahmā jagāma svaṁ niveśanam.
Sauti said: Having thus spoken to him, Brahmā departed for his own abode. The narrative underscores the reverent closure of a divine instruction: once counsel is delivered, the cosmic order is maintained by returning each being to their proper station and duty.
Speech and instruction carry authority when delivered appropriately, and dharma is upheld when each being completes their role and returns to their proper sphere—here symbolized by Brahmā departing to his own abode after speaking.
The narrator Sauti reports that Brahmā, after conversing with the addressed person (contextually Vyāsa in the surrounding narration), concludes the exchange and departs to his own residence.
