Rishi: As per AV 7.11 anukramaṇī tradition (variable)
Devata: Sarasvatī
Chandas: Triṣṭubh/Jagatī-like (to be confirmed)
It is a Paustika (prosperity) mantra used to promote nourishment and the thriving increase of valuables—resources, wealth, and well-being—through Sarasvatī’s abundance.
The image presents Sarasvatī as a motherly, ever-flowing source of sustenance: from her fullness come delight, favor, and the growth of “choice treasures.”
No substances are required by the verse. Some practitioners optionally keep clean water nearby as a symbolic reminder of Sarasvatī’s flowing, nourishing presence.
