Sukta 31
अग्निः प्राणान्त्सं दधाति चन्द्रः प्राणेन संहितः । व्य१हं सर्वेण पाप्मना वि यक्ष्मेण समायुषा
agníḥ prāṇā́n sám dadhāti candráḥ prāṇéna sáṃhitaḥ | vy àháṃ sárveṇa pā́pmánā ví yákṣmeṇa sám ā́yuṣā
Agni composes the breaths together; the Moon is knit with breath. So may I be parted from all evil taint, parted from yákṣma, and joined with full length of life.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (healing corpus attribution)
Devata: Agni and Candra (Moon); prāṇa/āyus as operative powers; yákṣma as adversary
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh-like (with refrain)
