Peace be to Earth; peace to the Mid-air; peace to Heaven; peace to the Waters; peace to the Herbs; peace to the Forest-trees. Peace be all the Gods to me; peace be all the Gods to me—peace, peace, peace, with peaces. With those peaces, with all peaces, I do here pacify: if here be aught dreadful, if here be aught cruel, if here be aught evil—let that be pacified, let that be gracious; let all, even all, be welfare unto us.
Rishi: Atharvanic śānti tradition (attribution varies in ancillary indices)
Devata: Śānti; also cosmic regions and ‘All Gods’ (Viśve Devāḥ) as pacifying powers
Chandas: Predominantly prose-like/late Atharvanic cadence with mantraic repetitions
