Sukta 3
आ यन्ति दिवः पृथिवीं सचन्ते भूम्याः सचन्ते अध्यन्तरिक्षम्। शुद्धाः सतीस्ता उ शुम्भन्त एव ता नः स्वर्गमभि लोकं नयन्तु
ā́ yanti diváḥ pṛthivī́ṃ sacante bhū́myāḥ sacante ádhy antárikṣam | śuddhā́ḥ satī́s tā́ u śúmbhanta evá tā́ naḥ svargám abhí lokáṃ nayantu ||
They come from heaven, they cleave to earth; from earth they cleave upon the mid-air. Pure, beneficent, they verily grow splendid: may those waters lead us on toward the heavenly world.
