उत्तरं राष्ट्रं प्रजयोत्तरावद् दिशामुदीची कृणवन्नो अग्रम्। पाङ्क्तं छन्दःपुरुषो बभूव विश्वैर्विश्वाङ्गैः सह सं भवेम
úttaraṃ rāṣṭráṃ prajā́yottarā́vad diśā́m udī́cī kṛṇavan no ágram | pā́ṅktaṃ chándaḥ púruṣo babhū́va víśvair viśvā́ṅgaiḥ sahá sáṃ bhavema ||
A northern realm, superior with progeny—may the northern quarter of the regions make for us the foremost place. The fivefold metre became the Person: with all, with all his limbs, together may we wholly come to be.
