Sukta 9
अपो देवी र्मधुमतीर्घृतश्चुतो ब्रह्मणां हस्तेषु प्रपृथक् सादयामि । यत् काम इदमभिषिञ्चामि वोऽहं तन्मे सर्वं सं पद्यतां वयं स्याम पतयो रयीणाम्
ápaḥ devī́r mádhumatīr ghṛtaścúto bráhmaṇāṃ hásteṣu prá pṛthák sādáyāmi | yát kā́ma idám abhísiñcāmi vo ’háṃ tán me sárvaṃ sáṃ padyatāṃ vayáṃ syā́ma pátayo rayīṇā́m
The Waters—Goddesses, honeyed, ghee-distilling—upon the Brahmans’ hands I set forth, each in due portion. What wish I, sprinkling this on you, do utter—may that for me, all of it, wholly prosper; may we be lords of riches.
