Whose is the Earth as ordered measure, and the Mid-air also as the belly; who made Heaven for the head—unto that Eldest Brahman be reverence.
Rishi: Traditionally attributed within AV 10.7 to speculative seers (Skambha-hymn tradition; often treated as Atharvanic/Angirasic in character rather than a single named ṛṣi).
Devata: Skambha / Brahman (cosmic support, supreme sacred power).
Chandas: Mixed; this verse is commonly scanned as a triṣṭubh/jagatī-type Atharvanic lineation with refrain (school-dependent).
{"primary_rasa":"shanta","secondary_rasa":"adbhuta","emotional_arc":"Cosmic mapping → reverential surrender → inner stillness.","listener_experience":"Awe that settles into calm; sense of being held by a larger order.","intensity":3}
