índrasyá ójaḥ sthéndrasya sáhaḥ sthéndrasya bálam sthéndrasya vīryàṃ sthéndrasya nṛmnám stha | jiṣṇáve yógāya kṣatrayógair vó yunajmi
Be ye Indra’s energy; be ye Indra’s mastering force; be ye Indra’s strength; be ye Indra’s hero-might; be ye Indra’s manly eminence. For the Conqueror, for yoking, with the yokings of kingly power I harness you.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (often treated as Atharvan/Angiras-type for such power-installation formulas; specific r̥ṣi attribution varies by anukramaṇī).
Devata: Indra (Jiṣṇu, the Conqueror) and Indraic powers (ojas, sahas, bala, vīrya, nṛmṇa) as quasi-personified efficacies.
Chandas: Mixed/prose-like anuṣṭubh cadence; functionally a repetitive injunctive formula (mantric litany).
