यासां राजा वरुणो याति मध्ये सत्यानृते अवपश्यन् जनानाम्। या अग्निं गर्भं दधिरे सुवर्णास्ता न आपः शं स्योना भवन्तु
yā́sāṃ rājā́ váruṇo yā́ti mádhye satyā́nṛte avapáśyan jánānām | yā́ agníṃ gárbhaṃ dadhiré suvarṇā́s tā́ na ā́paḥ śáṃ syónā bhavantu
In whose midmost space King Varuṇa moves, looking down on men, discerning truth and falsehood;—the Waters which have set Agni as an embryo within them, those golden Waters—may they be for us kindly, bringing weal.
