वंशवर्णनम्, अनिरुद्धविवाहः, तथा बलराम-रुक्मी द्यूतविवादः

cārudeṣṇaṃ sudeṣṇaṃ ca cārudehaṃ ca vīryavān suṣeṇaṃ cāruguptaṃ ca bhadracāruṃ tathā param
Kemudian (dalam garis keturunan itu) lahirlah Cārudeṣṇa dan Sudeṣṇa, serta Cārudeha yang gagah; juga Suṣeṇa, Cārugupta, dan Bhadracāru—mereka dan yang lain pun dihitung berurutan.

They preserve the continuity of royal succession (vamsha) and frame history as dharma unfolding under the supreme governance of Vishnu.
By a sequential enumeration of rulers—showing lineage as an ordered transmission rather than isolated biographies, emphasizing continuity across generations.
Even when Vishnu is not named in the verse, the Purana’s framework treats kingship and succession as operating within Vishnu’s cosmic sovereignty, where dharma and order are ultimately upheld by the Supreme.
