प्रियव्रतवंशवर्णनम् — सप्तद्वीपविभागः, जम्बूद्वीप-वर्षविभागः, भरत-नामकरणम्
यो ऽयम् अंशो जगत्सृष्टिसंबन्धो गदितस् त्वया तत्राहं श्रोतुम् इच्छामि भूयो ऽपि मुनिसत्तम
yo 'yam aṃśo jagatsṛṣṭisaṃbandho gaditas tvayā tatrāhaṃ śrotum icchāmi bhūyo 'pi munisattama
Wahai resi terbaik, bagian tentang kaitan jagat dengan penciptaannya yang telah engkau ucapkan itu—hal itulah yang ingin kudengar sekali lagi.
