व्रतानि वेदवेद्याप्तिकारणान्य् अखिलानि च नरकग्राममार्गेण सङ्गेनापहृतानि मे

vratāni vedavedyāptikāraṇāny akhilāni ca narakagrāmamārgeṇa saṅgenāpahṛtāni me

Segala brata suciku—disiplin yang menjadi sarana meraih apa yang diwahyukan Veda—telah dirampas dariku oleh kuasa pergaulan buruk, seakan aku diseret di jalan menuju kampung neraka.
