ततो ऽब्रवीद् वचो रम्भो वरं चेन्मे ददासि हि त्रैलोक्यविजयी पुत्रः स्यान्मे त्वत्तेजसाधिकः
tato 'bravīd vaco rambho varaṃ cenme dadāsi hi trailokyavijayī putraḥ syānme tvattejasādhikaḥ
Lalu Rambhā berkata: “Jika engkau benar-benar menganugerahkan anugerah kepadaku, semoga aku memperoleh seorang putra penakluk tiga dunia, yang melampaui bahkan kemilau dan daya kekuatanmu.”

Desire (kāma) when coupled with power-seeking becomes a seed for disorder: a boon aimed at surpassing the giver’s own tejas anticipates rivalry and cosmic imbalance, which Purāṇic narratives often resolve through divine intervention and restoration of dharma.
Vamśānucarita: the request explicitly aims at producing a pivotal progeny whose deeds (conquest of the three worlds) will shape later divine–asuric history.
Apsaras Rambhā represents allure and desire; her boon-request symbolizes how fascination and aspiration can generate ‘world-conquering’ egoic projects, setting the stage for avatāric correction in Purāṇic logic.
