इति श्रीवामनपुराणे सप्तदशो ऽध्यायः पुलस्त्य उवाच मासि चाश्वयुजे ब्रह्मन् यदा पद्मं जगत्पतेः नाभ्या निर्याति हि तदा देवेष्वेतान्यथो ऽभवन्
iti śrīvāmanapurāṇe saptadaśo 'dhyāyaḥ pulastya uvāca māsi cāśvayuje brahman yadā padmaṃ jagatpateḥ nābhyā niryāti hi tadā deveṣvetānyatho 'bhavan
Demikianlah dalam Śrī Vāmana Purāṇa berakhir bab ketujuh belas. Pulastya berkata: “Wahai Brahmana, pada bulan Āśvayuja, ketika teratai Sang Penguasa jagat muncul dari pusarnya, maka di kalangan para dewa timbullah ketentuan/keadaan khusus ini.”
