Yogatattva

जिह्वया यद्रसं ह्यत्ति तत्तदात्मेति भावयेत् । त्वचा यद्यत्स्पृशेद्योगी तत्तदात्मेति भावयेत् ॥७१॥
Padapatha (Word Split)
जिह्वया यत् रसम् हि अत्ति तत् तत् आत्मा इति भावयेत् । त्वचा यत् यत् स्पृशेत् योगी तत् तत् आत्मा इति भावयेत् ॥
IAST Transliteration
jihvayā yad rasaṃ hy atti tat tad ātmeti bhāvayet | tvacā yad yat spṛśed yogī tat tad ātmeti bhāvayet ||71||
Translation
Rasa apa pun yang dinikmati lidah, hendaknya direnungkan: “itulah Ātman”. Apa pun yang disentuh yogin dengan kulit, hendaknya direnungkan: “itulah Ātman”.
Academic Translation
Whatever taste the tongue indeed eats (enjoys)—one should contemplate that as ‘that is the Self’. Whatever the yogin touches with the skin—one should contemplate that as ‘that is the Self’.
