Amritnada

तालमात्राविनिष्कम्पो धारणायोजनं तथा । द्वादशमात्रो योगस्तु कालतो नियमः स्मृतः ॥२४॥

ताल-मात्रा-विनिष्कम्पः । धारणायोजनम् । तथा । द्वादश-मात्रः । योगः । तु । कालतः । नियमः । स्मृतः ॥

tālamātrāviniṣkampo dhāraṇāyojanaṃ tathā | dvādaśamātro yogas tu kālato niyamaḥ smṛtaḥ ||24||

Keteguhan tanpa getar selama satu tāla-mātrā disebut penerapan dhāraṇā; sedangkan yoga berukuran dua belas mātrā—aturan waktu ini dikenang sebagai ketentuan.

Steadiness for the duration of a tāla-mātrā is the application of dhāraṇā; but yoga is (said to be) of twelve mātrās—this temporal regulation is remembered as the rule.
