Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 23

यद्राक्षसगणैः सार्धं मम भूमिं समंततः । त्वं क्लेशयसि दुर्बुद्धे मां विश्वास्य सुभाषितैः

yadrākṣasagaṇaiḥ sārdhaṃ mama bhūmiṃ samaṃtataḥ | tvaṃ kleśayasi durbuddhe māṃ viśvāsya subhāṣitaiḥ

Namun, bersama gerombolan raksasa, engkau menyengsarakan tanahku di segala sisi, wahai yang berjiwa jahat—setelah memenangkan kepercayaanku dengan kata-kata manis.
