दे॒वं-दे॑वं॒ वोऽव॑से दे॒वं-दे॑वम॒भिष्ट॑ये । दे॒वं-दे॑वᳪ हुवेम॒ वाज॑सातये गृ॒णन्तो॑ दे॒व्या धि॒या

deváṃ-devam vo’váse deváṃ-devam abhíṣṭaye | deváṃ-devaṃ huvema vā́ja-sātaye gṛṇántaḥ devyā́ dhiyā́

Wahai para dewa, demi pertolongan kami, kami menyeru setiap dewa; demi kemajuan kami, setiap dewa. Demi memperoleh hadiah (vāja), kami hendak memanggil setiap dewa, sambil memuji dengan daya-pikir ilahi.
