द्वे सृ॒ती अ॑शृणवं पितॄ॒णाम॒हं दे॒वाना॑मु॒त मर्त्या॑नाम् । ताभ्या॑मि॒दं विश्व॒मेज॒त्समे॑ति॒ यद॑न्त॒रा पि॒तरं॑ मा॒तरं॑ च ॥

Transliteration

dvé sṛtī́ aśṛṇavaṃ pitṝṇā́m aháṃ devā́nām utá mártyānām | tā́bhyām idáṃ víśvam éjat saméti yád antárā pitáraṃ mātáraṃ ca ||

Translation

Dua jalan telah kupelajari,—milik para Leluhur, milik para dewa, dan juga milik manusia fana. Dengan kedua jalan itu seluruh dunia yang bergerak ini berhimpun,—yakni yang berada di antara ayah dan ibu.
