It teaches that sincere honor offered to the wise evokes compassionate guidance, and that dharma—when learned from a realized teacher—becomes a yogic path that steadies both the individual and society under Pati (Shiva).
By showing the fruit of pūjā (reverent worship): right instruction. In Shaiva thought, devotion to Saguna Shiva and His devotees ripens into dharma and inner discipline, which supports steady worship and gradual freedom from pasha (bondage).
The implied practice is respectful pūjā and service to a guru-like sage, followed by disciplined living (dharma) as a daily sādhanā—conducting one’s duties as an offering to Shiva, supported by regular mantra-japa such as the Panchakshara.
