It marks the unfolding of divine order through named progeny—showing how the cosmos is sustained by distinct powers, ultimately rooted in Shiva as the supreme Pati even when described through worldly lineages.
By naming cosmic agents (like ‘Viśvabhāvana’), the text points to Saguna expressions of the Supreme; Linga-worship gathers these many functions into one focal symbol of Shiva’s all-pervading sovereignty.
Contemplate Shiva as Viśvabhāvana—the one who sustains the universe—while repeating the Panchakshara mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” offering the mind’s activities back into the Linga as the center of all manifestations.
