Brahma
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
The verse frames sacred teaching as lokahita (welfare for all beings) and as arising from Śiva’s icchā (divine will), emphasizing that true guidance is not mere opinion but grace-driven instruction aligned with Pati (Śiva), the supreme Lord.
By stating that the narration is prompted by Śiva’s will, it supports Saguna Śiva-bhakti—approaching Śiva as the conscious Lord who responds, guides, and inspires. Such scriptural speech becomes a form of upāsanā (devotional contemplation) that prepares the mind for Linga-worship and steady remembrance.
A practical takeaway is śravaṇa (devotional listening) with a receptive heart, treating Śiva’s teachings as grace. Pair this with japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” before or after listening/reading to internalize the instruction.
