सीताया यशोधर्मविचारः
Sita’s Counsel on Honor, Rescue-Strategy, and Hanuman’s Reassurance
एवं बहुविधं वाच्यो रामो दाशरथिस्त्वया।यथा मामाप्नुयाच्छीघ्रं हत्वा रावणमाहवे।।।।
evaṃ bahuvidhaṃ vācyaḥ rāmo dāśarathis tvayā | yathā mām āpnuyāc chīghraṃ hatvā rāvaṇam āhave ||
Maka hendaklah engkau menasihati dan menggerakkan Rāma, putra Daśaratha, dengan berbagai cara, agar setelah menewaskan Rāvaṇa di medan laga, ia segera menjemputku kembali.
'You may appeal to Rama, the son of Dasaratha in many ways, that he should come quickly and slay Ravana in the battle and get me back.
Dharma is the restoration of justice: evil (Rāvaṇa’s adharma) must be confronted, and the rightful order—protecting the innocent and honoring marital duty—must be re-established.
Sītā’s words frame the urgency and moral necessity of Rāma’s intervention; the verse functions as a directive to the messenger about what to convey.
Satya-niṣṭhā and steadfastness: Sītā remains unwavering in her rightful bond and in the conviction that justice must prevail.
