त्रिशङ्कुशापः
Trishanku’s Curse and Appeal to Viśvāmitra
प्रत्याख्यातोऽस्मि गुरुणा गुरुपुत्रैस्तथैव च।।।।अन्यां गतिं गमिष्यामि स्वस्ति वोऽस्तु तपोधना:।
pratyākhyāto 'smi guruṇā guruputrais tathaiva ca |
anyāṃ gatiṃ gamiṣyāmi svasti vo 'stu tapodhanāḥ ||
Aku telah ditolak oleh guruku, dan demikian pula oleh putra-putra sang guru. Aku akan menempuh jalan yang lain. Semoga sejahtera atas kalian, wahai para tapa-dhana, yang kekayaannya adalah tapa.
"O Men endowed with the wealth of asceticism I was rejected by my guru and now by his sons. I shall seek another way. Farewell to you".
