दिते: पुत्रा न तां राम जगृहुर्वरुणात्मजाम्।अदितेस्तु सुता वीर जगृहुस्तामनिन्दिताम्।।।।

Transliteration

diteḥ putrā na tāṃ rāma jagṛhur varuṇātmajām |

adites tu sutā vīra jagṛhus tāmaninditām ||

Translation

Wahai Rāma, putra-putra Diti tidak menerima putri Varuṇa itu; tetapi putra-putra Aditi, wahai pahlawan, menerima dia yang tiada cela.
