Receiving the Astras and Instruction on Withdrawal
Thereafter those devatas having said, "Be it so", circumambulated Rama, took leave of him and returned to their respective abodes from where they had come.
Dharma is shown through proper conduct toward the worthy: respectful leave-taking and pradakṣiṇā reflect recognition of moral-spiritual authority, and “evam astu” reflects commitment to truth and agreement.
Having accepted Rāma’s instruction to remain mentally available, the astra-deities ritually honor him and return to their own realms.
Rāma’s sanctified authority: others honor him not through fear but through reverence, suggesting his alignment with dharma.
