पञ्चदशः सर्गः — देवकृत-प्रार्थना, रावणवधोपायः, विष्णोः मानुषावतारनियोजनम्
Sarga 15: The Devas’ Petition, the Means to Slay Ravana, and Vishnu’s Commission to Incarnate as Man
भगवन्त्वत्प्रसादेन रावणो नाम राक्षस:।सर्वान्नो बाधते वीर्याच्छासितुं तं न शक्नुम:।।1.15.6।।
bhagavan tvatprasādena rāvaṇo nāma rākṣasaḥ |
sarvān no bādhate vīryāc chāsituṃ taṃ na śaknumaḥ ||1.15.6||
Wahai Bhagavān, berkat anugerah-Mu seorang rākṣasa bernama Rāvaṇa memperoleh kekuatan dan menindas kami semua dengan keperkasaannya; kami tidak sanggup mengekang ataupun menghukumnya.
"O lord! a rakshasa by name Ravana who had obtained prowess through your grace is oppressing us. We are unable to punish him.
