पम्पा-ऋष्यमूक-मार्गोपदेशः
Guidance to Pampa and Rishyamuka; counsel to befriend Sugriva
न तत्राक्रमितुं नागाश्शक्नुवन्ति तमाश्रमम्।।3.73.28।।विविधास्तत्र वै नागा वने तस्मिंश्च पर्वते।ऋषेस्तत्र मतङ्गस्य विधानात्तच्च काननम्।।3.73.29।।
vividhās tatra vai nāgā vane tasmiṁś ca parvate | ṛṣes tatra mataṅgasya vidhānāt tac ca kānanam ||
Sesungguhnya, beraneka ragam gajah berkeliaran di hutan itu dan di gunung itu; namun rimba itu terpelihara dan tertata oleh titah sang ṛṣi Mataṅga.
The elephants of the forest and on the mountains do not attack the hermitage forbidden by sage Matanga.
