लक्ष्मणोपदेशः

Lakshmana Consoles Rama on Fate, Fortitude, and Right Action

तत्त्वतो हि नरश्रेष्ठ बुद्ध्या समनुचिन्तय।बुध्द्या युक्ता महाप्राज्ञा विजानन्ति शुभाशुभे।।3.66.15।।

tattvato hi naraśreṣṭha buddhyā samanucintaya |

buddhyā yuktā mahāprājñā vijānanti śubhāśubhe || 3.66.15 ||

Wahai yang terbaik di antara manusia, renungkanlah hakikat segala sesuatu dengan buddhi (akal budi)mu. Orang bijak yang berdaya-beda memahami yang śubha dan aśubha—yang membawa berkah dan yang mencelakakan—lalu memilih jalan yang patut.
