गोदावरीतटे सीतान्वेषणम्
The Search for Sītā at the Godāvarī
शरावरौ शरैः पूर्णौ विध्वस्तौ पश्य लक्ष्मण।प्रतोदाभीशुहस्तो वै कस्यायं सारथिर्हतः।।।।
śarāvarau śaraiḥ pūrṇau vidhvastau paśya lakṣmaṇa | pratodābhīśuhasto vai kasyāyaṃ sārathir hataḥ ||
Lihatlah, Lakṣmaṇa—dua tabung panah penuh anak panah kini hancur berantakan. Dan di sini kusir kereta terbunuh, masih menggenggam cambuk dan tali kekang. Milik siapakah orang-orang ini?
O Lakshmana ! look at these two quivers filled with arrows and lying shattered. The charioteer is holding a whip and reins in his hands and is lying dead. To whom do they belong?
