तं ततस्सान्त्वयामास लक्ष्मणः प्रियबान्धवः।बहुप्रकारं धर्मज्ञः प्रश्रितं प्रश्रिताञ्जलिः।।।।

Transliteration

taṃ tataḥ sāntvayāmāsa lakṣmaṇaḥ priyabāndhavaḥ | bahuprakāraṃ dharmajñaḥ praśritaṃ praśritāñjaliḥ ||

Translation

Lalu Lakṣmaṇa—sahabat terkasih Rama dan yang memahami dharma—dengan rendah hati, bersedekap tangan, menenangkan beliau dengan berbagai cara.
