Rama’s Lament and Search for Sita
तिष्ठ तिष्ठ वरारोहे न तेऽस्ति करुणा मयि।नात्यर्थं हास्यशीलासि किमर्थं मामुपेक्षसे।।3.60.27।।
tiṣṭha tiṣṭha varārohe na te ’sti karuṇā mayi | nātyarthaṁ hāsyaśīlāsi kimarthaṁ mām upekṣase || 3.60.27 ||
Berhentilah, berhentilah, wahai yang beranggota elok! Tidakkah ada belas kasih padaku? Engkau pun tidak terlalu gemar bersenda; mengapa engkau mengabaikanku?
O my beautiful beloved, stay, stay ! Have you no compassion for me ? You are so fond of fun. Why do you avoid me?
