तस्यास्त्वैरावतः पुत्रो लोकनाथो महागजः।मातङ्ग्या स्त्वथ मातङ्गा अपत्यं मनुजर्षभ।।3.14.25।।
tasyās tv airāvataḥ putro lokanātho mahāgajaḥ |
mātaṅgyāḥ stv atha mātaṅgā apatyaṃ manujarṣabha ||3.14.25||
Dari Irāvatī lahirlah putra bernama Airāvata, gajah agung yang menjadi pemimpin di antara makhluk; dan dari Mātaṅgī, wahai insan termulia, lahirlah keturunan gajah-gajah (Mātaṅga).
