Means to Slay Tāraka: Girijā’s Birth, Kāma’s Burning, and Umā’s Austerities

गृहीतार्घम्मुनिश्रेष्ठमपृच्छत्श्लक्ष्णया गिरा । कुशलं तपसः शैलः शनैः फुल्लाननांबुजः

gṛhītārghammuniśreṣṭhamapṛcchatślakṣṇayā girā | kuśalaṃ tapasaḥ śailaḥ śanaiḥ phullānanāṃbujaḥ

Setelah menerima arghya, resi terbaik itu bertanya dengan tutur yang lembut. Śaila, dengan wajah laksana teratai yang perlahan merekah, menanyakan kesejahteraan sang pertapa bagai gunung itu.
