Prabhāsa-kṣetra: Circuit of Tīrthas and Shrines Leading to Bhukti and Mokṣa

Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in the Uttara-Bhaga tīrtha-mahātmya context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that tīrtha-snāna (ritual bathing at a sacred ford) functions as a purificatory prayāścitta, removing accumulated kilbiṣa (moral/ritual impurity) and weakening the bondage of pāpa.
Though focused on tīrtha-mahātmya, it supports bhakti by prescribing purity as a foundation—pilgrimage and sacred bathing prepare the devotee for worship, japa, and remembrance with a cleansed mind.
It reflects Kalpa (ritual practice) and Dharma-śāstra style prayāścitta logic: specific acts (snāna at named tīrthas) are prescribed as means to reduce pāpa and restore ritual/spiritual fitness.
