पटहं वारणे धृत्वा वादयेद्धरि वासरे । अष्टवर्षाधिको यस्तु पञ्चाशीत्यूनवर्षकः ॥ ८ ॥
paṭahaṃ vāraṇe dhṛtvā vādayeddhari vāsare | aṣṭavarṣādhiko yastu pañcāśītyūnavarṣakaḥ || 8 ||
Pada hari suci Hari, letakkan genderang besar (kettledrum) di atas gajah lalu bunyikan. Ini dilakukan oleh yang berusia lebih dari delapan tahun dan kurang dari delapan puluh lima tahun.
