ततः काकी ततः श्याली गोधा गोत्वेन शुद्ध्यति । भर्तुरर्थे तु या वित्तें विद्यमानं न यच्छति ॥ ४१ ॥
tataḥ kākī tataḥ śyālī godhā gotvena śuddhyati | bharturarthe tu yā vitteṃ vidyamānaṃ na yacchati || 41 ||
Kemudian ia menjadi gagak betina, lalu menjadi serigala betina; terlahir sebagai kadal, dan akhirnya disucikan dengan memperoleh kelahiran sebagai sapi. Namun perempuan yang, meski harta tersedia, tidak memberikannya demi kesejahteraan suami—baginya demikianlah akibat yang dinyatakan.
