वसिष्ठ उवाच । तच्छ्रुत्वा नृपतेर्वाक्यं महाज्ञानी मुनीश्वरः । चिंतयित्वा क्षणं ज्ञात्वा कारणं तमुचाव ह ॥ १ ॥
vasiṣṭha uvāca | tacchrutvā nṛpatervākyaṃ mahājñānī munīśvaraḥ | ciṃtayitvā kṣaṇaṃ jñātvā kāraṇaṃ tamucāva ha || 1 ||
Vasiṣṭha berkata: Mendengar ucapan sang raja, sang mahā-jñānī, pemuka para resi, merenung sejenak, memahami sebabnya, lalu menuturkan kepadanya ॥ 1 ॥
