Matsya Purana — Intermediate Dissolution

It describes the Manvantara-ending dissolution where the world becomes an ekārṇava (a single ocean), yet is preserved to endure through Manu under Matsya’s protection.
By placing preservation of the world’s continuity alongside Manu, it reinforces the Purāṇic ideal that righteous leadership safeguards society through crises—maintaining order, lineage, and sacred knowledge for renewal after calamity.
No direct Vāstu or ritual procedure is stated; the takeaway is cosmological—ritual and sacred traditions are implied to be preserved through the deluge so they can be re-established in the renewed age.
