Adhyaya 84 — The Gods’ Hymn after the Slaying of Mahishasura and the Goddess’ Boon
ऋषिरुवाच
इति प्रसादिता देवैर् जगतोऽर्थे तथाऽऽत्मनः ।
तथेति उक्त्वा भद्रकाली बभूवाऽन्तर्हिता नृप ॥
ṛṣir uvāca | iti prasāditā devair jagato'rthe tathā'tmanaḥ | tathety uktvā bhadrakālī babhūvāntarhitā nṛpa ||
Sang Ṛṣi berkata: “Demikianlah, setelah dipuja dengan sempurna oleh para dewa demi kebaikan dunia dan demi kepentingan mereka sendiri, Bhadrakālī berkata ‘Demikianlah adanya,’ wahai raja, lalu lenyap dari pandangan.”
