Adhyaya 75 — The Fall and Restoration of Revatī Nakṣatra and the Birth of Raivata Manu
The Purāṇa frames time as structured and knowable: each epoch has named collectives and fixed counts, emphasizing order (ṛta/dharma) rather than randomness in cosmic history.
Manvantara: listing the deva-gaṇas and their numbers is part of the manvantara profile, alongside Indra and saptarṣis.
Numbering (caturdaśa) functions as a mnemonic-cosmological code: the epoch is mapped through repeatable templates, suggesting cyclical recurrence with distinct names.
