Sanskrit

तन्नगासन्नभूतश्च शुश्राठ पठतां ध्वनिम् ।

श्रुत्वा च विस्मयाविष्टश्चिन्तयामास जैमिनिः ॥

Transliteration

tannagāsannabhūtaś ca śuśrāṭha paṭhatāṃ dhvanim | śrutvā ca vismayāviṣṭaś cintayāmāsa jaiminiḥ ||

Translation

Kemudian, ketika mendekati gunung itu, ia mendengar suara japa dan pembacaan suci. Mendengarnya, Jaimini diliputi keheranan dan mulai merenung: “Apakah ini?”
